Leading genres on FAST services in the U.S. 2022, by ad impressions share
During a study of free ad-supported TV services in the United States, it was found that the news content genre was the best performing in terms of advertising effectiveness, with news channels on the measured FAST platforms garnering 36 percent of ad impressions in the second quarter of 2022. At the same time, the entertainment content channels attracted eight percent of ad impressions in the country.
