Renewable energy production in North Africa 2021, by country
In 2021, Egypt recorded the largest renewable energy production in North Africa, at 25,288 gigawatt hours. Morocco ranked second in the region, with an output of 7,828 gigawatt hours. In contrast, renewable power generation was lowest in Libya at only eight gigawatt hours.
