Survey figures from the German Central Bank suggest that younger consumers were more likely to own a cryptocurrency in 2020 than their older counterparts. That year, 18-to 27-year old survey respondents from Germany were three times more likely to own a digital currency such as Bitcoin than Germans aged 45 to 54 years old.
