Melanoma skin cancer incidence in the United Kingdom 1993-2018, by gender
In the period 2016 to 2018, the incidence of melanoma skin cancer diagnoses in the United Kingdom was 28.7 cases per 100,000 for men and 24.7 cases per 100,000 for women. The rate of skin cancer has increased significantly in the UK since 1993, and from 2004/2006 onwards the rate of skin cancer has been higher in men compared to women.
