Revenue of the space industry South Korea 2015-2021
In 2021, the space industry in South Korea recorded an overall revenue of approximately 2.6 trillion South Korean won. This was lower than the previous year, with the rise of OTT services leading to a decrease in revenue from satellite receivers. With the successful launch of the Nuri rocket (also known as KSLV-II) in 2022, South Korea became the seventh country in the world that was able to put in orbit a satellite that weighs over one metric ton.
