Crude steel production in Latin America 2014-2023
In 2023, the production of crude steel in Latin America was estimated to reach approximately 58.3 million metric tons. This represents a decrease of seven percent in comparison to the previous year. Brazil is the leading crude steel producer in Latin America, accounting for more than half of the region's output.
