In 2018, around 13 percent of the pharmacies in Italy were equipped with defibrillators. This statistic shows how this figure varied across regions in the country. According to data, the region with the highest percentage of pharmacies with a defibrillator was Aosta-Valley (67 percent), followed by Lazio, with 42 percent of chemists. By contrast, only five percent of pharmacies in Friuli-Venezia Giulia owned a defibrillator, while Molise recorded no pharmacy having this device.
