This statistic displays the finding of a survey undertaken in Switzerland to determine the most popular payment card types and debit card brands. As of 2018, credit cards were the most frequently owned payment card type with 78 percent of respondents indicating that they had one. Of debit cards, Maestro was the most owned type with 66 percent.
