Italy: parents' opinion about children's financial literacy 2016

This statistic highlights the results of a survey conducted in Italy as of 2016 among parents of the so-called Post-Millennials (people born in 1995 or later) and whose aim was to find out parents' opinion about their children's financial literacy. Particularly, they had to indicate to what extent they strongly agree or somewhat agree with seven statements. As of the survey period, a large proportion of the interviewed parents (56 percent) somewhat agreed on the fact that it is important to keep teenagers apart from complex issues such as money for as long as possible. Other 42 percent of them strongly agreed that youngsters should learn how to pay with credit cards or online from an early age.
