Banking in Latin America: social media follower ratio 2019, by country
As of July 2019, banks in Guatemala had an average of 30 unique Facebook followers for each Twitter follower. In Venezuela, banks' social media profiles had approximately twice as many Twitter followers than Facebook followers at that point in time. Furthermore, social media remain a relevant aspect of internet usage in Latin America as a whole.
