Results of the German Bundestag election in 2017
This statistic shows the provisional results of the Bundestag election in Germany on September 24, 2017. The CDU/CSU got roughly 33 percent of second votes, according to preliminary results and thus became the strongest party, though compared to the previous elections in 2013 approximately 8.6 percent of votes were lost. The SPD got 20.5 percent of votes, showing the worst result after a Bundestag election since the existence of the Federal Republic of Germany. The AfD won 12.6 percent of votes and will have seats in the Bundestag for the first time.
