This statistic shows the breakdown of black winter truffle harvest volume of the first three production countries in the European Union from 2012/2013 to 2015/2016. During the period 2015/2016, Spain had produced 50 percent of the total volume of these truffles harvested in Europe. French harvest represented roughly 40 percent. In 2012/2013, France had harvested more than 50 percent of the total production volume of this mushroom in the EU.
