During a 2022 survey, 63.3 percent of responding small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) from the United States who advertised online said they used Facebook for paid digital advertising. Other social networks, such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Pinterest were also popular. SMBs also advertised in search engines (Google and Microsoft) as well as on digital retail media (Amazon).
