Awareness of new malaria vaccine in Africa 2022
In 2022, a survey on malaria vaccine awareness in Africa found that in most malaria-prone African countries, the majority of parents had not heard about the new malaria vaccine. The country with the highest awareness of the said vaccine was Kenya, with 52 percent of the surveyed parents claiming they had heard of it. Conversely, the country with the lowest level of awareness was Ghana, with only 34 percent of respondents reporting that they had heard of it.
