Electricity production in Central America 2021, by country
In 2021, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Honduras were the largest electricity-producing countries in Central America, each with an output of more than 12 terawatt-hours. Costa Rica also had the largest share of electricity produced from renewables in Central America that year. Overall, electricity generation in Central America totaled 63.14 terawatt-hours.
