UK: green hydrogen fuel emissions 2030

In the United Kingdom, hydrogen fuel created through onsite electrolysis using grid electricity had an emission intensity of 75 grams of CO² per megajoule in 2020. Green hydrogen's emission intensity is expected to decrease to 41 grams of CO² per megajoule in 2030 due to reduced emissions from across the supply chain - including stack electricity use and dispensing.
