In 2020, over 90 percent of over-the-top (OTT) video service users in South Korea were using Advertising-Video-on-Demand (AVOD) services, such as the free version of YouTube or Dailymotion. Another 8.5 percent used Subscription-Video-on-Demand services, such as Netflix.
