Between October and November of 2020, restaurant-goers primarily from the United States were asked about the method they most commonly used to acquire fast food during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The majority of respondents, 88.5 percent, cited pickup/drive-thru as their most common means of acquiring fast food. In comparison, eight percent of respondents said dining at fast restaurants at the alternative seating areas was their most common method.
