As of November 2020, 38 percent of Italian respondents declared to have children whose schools relied exclusively on online teaching. On the other hand, 28 percent of the respondents stated that their children's education took place only in-person. Since many institutions were not prepared for such a fast switch, online classes were not activated uniformly.
