Japan: share of mobile users who shared personal information online by type

According to a survey conducted in December 2019, more than 47 percent of smartphone and tablet users in Japan had disclosed their gender online. The prefecture where one lived was the second most common type of information people shared on the internet, followed by date of birth, as well as hobbies and interests.
