According to a survey on the main platforms used by influencers conducted in Indonesia in 2018, 97 percent of the influencers surveyed stated that Instagram was the platform they used most. The relatively high internet and social media penetration in Indonesia were among other factors that have been accelerating the popularity of influencer marketing in the country.
