CPI in Tanzania 2020, by geographical zone
As of December 2020, the South Eastern zone of Tanzania registered the highest Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the country, at 133.4 points. The lowest CPI was measured in the Central zone at 110.4 points. At the same date, the national average amounted to 120.8 points. The indicator tracks changes over time on prices of a basket of consumer goods and services.
