Payment methods for digital platforms in Kenya 2018
As of 2018, 83 percent of digital platforms allowed Kenyan consumers to pay with credit or debit cards. Additionally, nine percent of platforms allowed customer payments from bank accounts. The population of the East African country of Kenya is projected to reach 56.43 million people in 2024 and uses the Kenyan shilling (KES) as its currency.
