Changes in radio listening habits in Russia 2005-2021

According to survey results from February 2021, 45 percent of Russians did not listen to the radio, with the same share observed one year prior. Over the past 16 years, this share saw an increase by 22 percent. In 2005, approximately one fifth of respondents noticed an increase in their radio usage over the previous five to seven years. To compare, in 2020 and 2021, roughly every fourth Russian stated a decrease in radio listening.
