Household penetration rate of pay TV & SVoD in Peru 2016-2020
As iof January 2020, around 49.2 percent of households surveyed in Peru reported having access to pay TV services, down from 72.5 percent of households surveyed in 2016. Meanwhile, the share of Peruvian households that reported subscribing to both pay TV and a subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) platform went from less than one percent in 2016 to 5.1 percent at the beginning of 2020.
