Measures of schools to prevent bullying among students in Japan AY 2022
Approximately 96 percent of schools in Japan organized staff meetings in the academic year 2022 as a preventive measure against bullying. Those meetings were held in order to establish a common understanding of bullying issues occurring among the student body. Following the enactment of the anti-bullying legislation in 2013, the government required schools to implement measures to identify bullying at an early stage and report even small incidents like teasing.
