Russia was expected to increase its volume of nuclear in the total primary energy supply (TPES) by all three scenarios between 2015 and 2060, with the most steady rise forecasted in the Unfinished Symphony case, where the world was expected to aim at a low-carbon and more renewable energy. In this situation, the country's TPES from nuclear energy sources was predicted to reach 126 million tons of oil equivalent by 2060, which was approximately 1.5 times higher than the volume foreseen by the Modern Jazz scenario, which assumed a globally market-driven world with increasingly privatized gains.
