Domestic & cross-border e-commerce spending in Latin America 2019-2023
In 2019, cross-border online retail spending in Latin America amounted to approximately 29.4 billion U.S. dollars and is expected to reach up close to 52 billion dollars by 2023. However, the growth in e-commerce expenditure by consumers in the region is not exclusive to cross-border purchases and is forecasted to increase by over 72 percent the domestic spending within this period.
