This statistic shows the share of respondents who would vote for the presidential candidate, the incumbent Joko Widodo and vice-president candidate KH Ma'ruf Amin during the April 2019 Indonesian presidential election as of October 2018 and March 2019. During the two survey periods, the pair of candidates Jokowi and KH Ma'ruf Amin lost the most votes amongst the baby boomers. In October 2018, 58.1 percent of respondents who were in the baby boomers group indicated that they would vote for Jokowi and his running mate. As of March 2019, this dropped to 48.9 percent of such respondents. In comparison, they gained the most voters amongst respondents aged 71 years and above during the two times surveyed. In October 2018, 47.1 percent of respondents aged 71 years and above indicated that they would vote for Jokowi-KH Ma'ruf Amin. As of March 2019, 65.4 percent of such respondents indicated that they would vote for the incumbent and his running mate.
