According to a study conducted among agencies and marketers in the United States between March and April 2021, the finance industry was projected to spend 35.7 million U.S. dollars on average on connected TV advertising that year, marking a 97 percent increase from its 2020 value. Finance was also industry with the largest digital desktop video ad spend, with an estimated 27.9 million dollars, while retail was the industry with the highest expected mobile video ad spend, with an estimated 27.3 million dollars.
