In the 2019 Australian federal election, 74 percent of Liberal/National Coalition voters felt that the economy was the most important election issue in Australia. Voters of the Labor party were marginally more inclined to see health as their most important election issue and over two thirds of Greens voters placed the environment at the top of their most important election issue list. Voters of other parties placed the economy as their most important issue however they were more than three times more likely to see immigration as their most important concern.
